Tropical Fruit Farm

Tasiana got a bit sick over the weekend and I didn't know if we'd be able to do a big thing today, but she took a big nap and by the time our driver came at 4pm she was doing fine. On the itinerary today was a trip to the Tropical Fruit Farm (a present from Grandma Z!) and dinner at a highly recommended Indian place.

Getting ready!

We made it for the last tour of the day so first stop was the tasting restaurant where we loaded up on fresh fruit and got to choose fruits to be juiced just for us!
Makoa's favorite colors are . . . orange and yellow and red, even to eat!
After we sampled the yummy fruit we had our own personal tour of the farm.
We decided to walk down the hill instead of take the shuttle so the guide walked with us pointing out all of the trees and plants and fruits. Makoa took the camera and took several scenic shots.

At the bottom we took a lovely 'thank you' photo for Grandma Z . . . I don't know why Makoa squeezed his eyes shut! Anyway, thanks Grandma!
Oh, and the Indian place was ah-mazing, anyone going to Penang should eat there.

Budget:
Accommodation - $62
Food - $12
Extras - Merry Christmas and thank you Grandma Z!
