Saturday & The Singapore Flyer

On Saturday we finally got out of Fort Canning and did something touristy! Makoa and I watch Amazing Race together and one of the challenges on the show took place on the Singapore Flyer - we had to go. And thanks to a Christmas present from Grandma Rita we got to!

First we walked through an indoor area with futuristic computers and artwork describing the making of the flyer and some city planning.

Then we loaded into our capsule and began the 30min ride around.

Everyone else was there with their significant other on a lover's ride the weekend before Valentine's Day. Don and I pretended for a minute we were too.

We enjoyed the views, amazed by the architecture and the big buildings and parks and boats on the water . . .
