Our last full day in KL and with so many choices of things to do we chose one and spent the whole day out, keeping Tasi awake to go through various versions of her sleep deprived self!
First stop was the Sze Ya Temple. We sat with an old man who told us each of our animal signs: Don-horse, Julie-monkey, Makoa-dog, and Tasiana-tiger. Then we bought incense to light and put three at a time into gold pots saying small prayers to the gods. It wasn't as wonderful and amazing as we thought it would be, but good cultural event nonetheless.
Next stop was the Central Market in Chinatown to snack on cupcakes while I ran around into a few shops.
Best stop - Mid Valley Shopping Mall - the longest mall in Asia to go to Megakidz play centre. This outing was a Christmas present from Grandma Rita and boy did we make the most of it. For 3 of the 4 hours we spent there we were all alone. For about 1 hour after school finished there were maybe 10 other kids. We went on a slide over 2 stories high and bounced on the castle and ran around and played. My camera needed to be charged so I didn't take many photos, but thanks Grandma Rita we had a great time!
For dinner we ate at Chili's - best part being bottomless juices. We don't really drink juice at home so vacation juices are the best EVER!!
Budget:
Accommodation - $78
Transport - $15
Food - $46
Souvenirs - $14
Megakidz- $0 Merry Christmas from Grandma Rita!
